A LARGE GILT-LACQUERED BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
16th century
Finely cast with eyes downcast in meditative expression, seated in
the lotus position atop a double-lotus pedestal, with the right hand
reaching down towards the ground in bhumisparsa mudra, the left
hand held gently in the lap in dhyana mudra, clad in a simple robe.
