Cast standing on its webbed feet, the head raised with an open beak, The vessel, rising from a high tapering foot with rounded sides curving
the pierced cover forming the wings with finely detailed plumage, wood inwards towards the rim, cast in low relief with the Eight Buddhist
stand. Emblems, bajixiang, between scrolling ruyi heads and animated
18.5cm (7 1/4in) high. (3). mythical creatures, flanked by loop handles emanating from dragon
heads, the base incised with six-character mark reading ‘Made by
