 The present painting from the Ramayana depicts Rama conversing with
 the future king of Lanka, Vibhishana, who has joined Rama’s ranks in
 order to overthrow his demonic brother Ravana. Vhibishana discloses
 Ravana’s military strategy and advises how to cross the ocean to Lanka.
