RARE PAIRE DE BOITES IMPERIALES COUVERTES ET
LEUR SOCLE EN LAQUE ROUGE
CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG (1736-1795)
Chaque ensemble comprend un couvercle lobé en laque rouge
fnement sculpté d’une scène de six personnages représentant des
étrangers portant des tributs dans un paysage lacustre bordé d’arbres
et de rochers. Les côtés du couvercle sont ornés de cinq cartouches
rectangulaires réservés sur fond de motifs géométriques à décor
d’objets de lettrés, vases feuris et coupes de fruits. Le couvercle
s’emboîte parfaitement sur une boîte couverte à deux compartiments
en laque tianqi. Le couvercle est orné de lotus, rinceaux stylisés et
ruyi sur fond de motifs géométriques. Les côtés sont rehaussés d’un
