See a similar bowl from the Simon Kwan collection,
illustrated in Imperial Porcelain of Late Qing from the Kwan
Collection, Art Gallery, The Chinese University of Hong Kong,
Hong Kong, 1983, cat. no. 25. Compare also a pair sold in
these rooms, 9th October 2012, lot 3103.
The double-lotus design was a Yongzheng innovation that
was reproduced by successive Qing emperors. A Qianlong
example, in the Nanjing Museum, is illustrated in Treasures
in the Royalty: The Official Kiln Porcelain of the Chinese
Qing Dynasty, Shanghai, 2003, p. 228; and another in the
Meiyintang collection, published in Chinese Ceramics from the
Meiyintang Collection, London, 1994-2010, vol. 2, no. 766.
