The box is of rectangular form with beaded
edges, and opens to reveal the interior ftted
with a single, removable tray.

A FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER VASE
18TH CENTURY
The vase is of tapering baluster form with
upright rim, and is decorated around the
body with two “scroll paintings” of fowers
reserved on a foral ground between borders
of petal lappets, and prunus and bamboo, all
below antiques and precious objects on the
neck. The base is unglazed.
