the vajra and ghanta, with Vasudhara to his left
and Padmapani holding the stem of a lotus to his
right, Rato Macchenranath seated before him
on the stepped lion throne, and all framed by a
foliate torana with chatra finial

Shiva seated in lalitasana on a lotus throne on a
tiered plinth, his pendent right leg resting upon
925 his bull Nandi, embracing his consort Parvati also
seated in the posture of royal ease upon Shiva’s
lap, the couple flanked by their children Skanda
and Ganesh who are seated on either side, all
seated under an ornamented prahbha

khatvanga, both deities adorned with five-pointed
crowns, elaborate jewelry and bone ornamented
aprons, a makara head spout emerging from a
double lotus base
