The brush pot is carved in low relief with a scholar dressed in
4ZEOFZ - .PTT -UE 卿ٳᘹ卿 ჺ
long flowing robes and seated on a mat, with his head gently tilted
upward and caught in a pensive expression. The other side of the 㯪᪪厍⽗ᇵࡎ❥ǯ㬃㕜ݎ⊂⋏ྏ卿໺⊊ㅳ
brush pot is carved with a four-character inscription, dedicated to
scholar Xiaxuan, followed by the signature of Yifu. The mouth
rim and base are bound with buffalo horn mounts.
