Few signed works by Nobara Teimei are known, but for a miniature
double-sided six-panel screen by Nobara Teimei that won a Hojo Itto
(First-Class Honourable Mention) at the 1899 spring exhibition of the
Nihon Bijutsu Kyokai (Japan Art Association), see Fujisawa Shigeru,
Chogan (Carving and Inlay), Tokyo, Gallery Chikuryudo, 2014, cat.
no.1; another piece by this artist was sold in these rooms,
