The first, in the form of a tsuitate (free-standing screen), carved in wide; the second a small man carrying a huge gourd on his back,
the round with the Chinese sage Teishien and a tiger beneath an unsigned, 6cm (2 3/8in) high; the third a monkey trainer standing on one
overhanging pine tree, the edges of the screen carved with keyfret foot, supporting his monkey on his shoulder, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in) high;
designs, unsigned, 4.2cm (1 5/8in) wide; the second five rats tumbling the fourth a small boy standing on Hotei’s sack, unsigned, 4.2cm (1 5/8in)
over each other and holding bunches of grapes, forming a compact high; the fifth a Chinese sage seated, leaning on an elbow rest, unsigned,
pyramid in unstained ivory, the eyes inlaid, unsigned, 4.5cm (1¾in) 4.5cm (1¾in) wide; the sixth a sennin holding a monkey on his shoulder,
high; the third a shishi and young, the adult recumbent on an oval unsigned, 8.9cm (3½in) high; the seventh a Dutchman standing, holding
base, one forepaw resting on an openwork ball while her two offspring a wind instrument with one hand and supporting a young boy on his
