                          Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century
                          Intricately worked in silver wire of varying gauge with a profusion of
                          flowers and plants of four seasons including kiku (chrysanthemum),
                          ominaeshi (valerian), kikyo (Chinese bellflower), shobu (iris) and hozuki
                          (Chinese lantern) growing beside a maple tree along the rocky banks of
                          a river; unsigned.
