Comprising 18 oban tate-e prints from the series Shingata sanjurokkaisen (New
Forms of 36 ghosts) depicting ghosts, demons, ghouls and monsters from folk tales
and legends, some sheets with well-preserved urushi, mica and embossed details:
14 prints published by Sasaki Toyokichi between Meiji 22 and 25 (1889-1892) and
four prints published by Matsuki Heikichi in Meiji 35 (1902), the 14 prints published by
Sasaki Toyokichi comprising:
