AN IMPERIAL FLAMBÉ-GLAZED VASE, HU
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER INCISED SEAL MARK AND OF
THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The deep bowl-shaped body raised on a spreading foot has a bow-
string border below the shoulder and a pair of trailing scroll handles
fanking the neck, and is covered with a glaze of crushed strawberry-
red color streaked in purple and milky blue.
