the pear-shaped body boldly carved with two 1988 1 19 251
large lotus blossoms on a continuous leafy
meander between bands of lotus-lappets issuing
from the foot and trumpet neck, all under a semi-
translucent olive-green glaze stopping neatly
around and within the orange- red biscuit foot,
