The name Fuku-roku-ju literally means luck-wealth-longevity. A rather small netsuke of the lucky deity Fukurokuju, depicted with Jurojin, literally “long-living old man”, is one of the Seven Lucky Jurojin, Japanese for “long-lived, old man”, is the god of longevity
