EMBLEMS' ALMS BOWL
Enamelled Qianlong four-character mark and of the period
The compressed globular body finely cast with rounded bulging
shoulders below a slightly incurved lipped mouth rim, the exterior
vibrantly enamelled in red, yellow, blue, green and white with the
Eight Buddhist Emblems scattered amidst leafy tendrils issuing from
blossoming lotus, between crashing waves and a ruyi-head band, all
on a rich turquoise ground.
