AN AGATE PENDANT, HUANG
NEOLITHIC PERIOD, LOWER YANGTZE RIVER REGION,
CIRCA 3300-2200 BC
The softly polished semi-circular pendant has convex sides with two small apertures on
either end to one side. The stone is of a semi-translucent pale amber tone with some
opaque inclusions.
