                 GARDEN SEAT, ZUODUN
                 YONGZHENG-QIANLONG PERIOD (1723-1795)

              The top and sides are pierced with cash
              emblems, those on the sides alternating with
              applied lion masks between rows of raised
              bosses, all amidst leafy fower scroll which is
              repeated on the ‘cloth-draped’ top and in the
              ruyi-shaped panels at the foot.
