The globular body finely inlaid with archaistic
motifs, raised on three tapering legs, the rim
flanked with two upright handles, wood stand;
together with a bronze oval tripod basin,
flanked with two chilong-form handles, the
base with an apocryphal Xuande six-character
mark, 19th century 17cm (6 3/4in) high (3).

The pear-shaped vessel of a Warring States/
Han Dynasty form, with a loose chain

shou-symbols and Arabic inscriptions, all
raised on three small feet.
