Ink, colour and gilt on silk, depicting two
mythical characters, one representing
Guandi, dressed in elaborate armoured
robes decorated with a dragon amongst
cloud scrolls, his left arm raised, standing
before Zhang Fei, holding aloft a halberd, the
elaborate robes draped in animal skins, all
before billowing clouds.
