AN INCISED AUBERGINE-GLAZED 'DRAGON' VASE
JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER INCISED SEAL MARK AND OF THE
PERIOD (1796-1820)
The well potted bottle vase with faring mouth rim is fnely incised to the
bulbous body and neck with two confronted dragons amongst ruyi-shaped
clouds, all above a band of waves and a band of classic scrolls to the foot rim,
covered in a rich dark aubergine-glaze.
