          Each bowl is fnely enamelled to the exterior with four roundels enclosing   歐洲私人珍藏
          various precious antiquities and fowers, one roundel with a small cat, all
          separated by fowering lotus tendrils on a lemon-yellow ground. The centre of
          the interior is decorated with a roundel depicting a lozenge suspended from
          a peony branch below a band of peony and lotus blossoms interlinked with
          tendrils to the interior mouth rim.

          A very similar pair of bowls dated to the Jiaqing period was in the collection
