A RARE GUAN-TYPE JARDINIÈRE National Palace Museum, included in the exhibition Precious Morning Star:
YUAN-MING DYNASTY (1279-1644) 12-14th Century Celadons in the Qing Court Collection, National Palace
The jardinière is elegantly potted with sides rising from four foliate-form Museum, Taipei, 2016, cat. no. IV-11. Also see a Guan lobed jardiniere dated
feet towards an everted mouth rim. The body is covered overall with a pale to the Southern Song-Yuan Dynasty from the Collection of Mrs Alfred Clark
brownish-grey glaze sufused with a network of black and russet crackles. (1890-1976), illustrated by Sir Percival David, Chinese Connoisseurship:
