CHINA, QING DYNASTY, KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN
UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The domed body rising to a wide, lipped mouth, and decorated on either
side with a single copper-red peony blossom on the pale bluish-green-
tinged ground that also covers the base and interior
5 in. (12.7 cm.) diam.
