Seated, its head raised and looking up, its mouth open and its forelegs Katchen, N7, vol.2, p.15, no.K14.
bent as if about to rise, its left hind leg forming the himotoshi, the well-
toned wood slightly worn and the pupils inlaid. Recumbent, its head turned to the left with raised snout, as it sniffs
the air, its legs drawn in for compactness, one forming the himotoshi,
the wood with a fine patina and the eyes inlaid in pale horn with dark
pupils.
