AN ENAMELED STONEWARE SNUFF BOTTLE AN UNUSUAL JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE
YIXING, QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE 1750-1850
PERIOD (1736-1795)
The bottle is of ovoid form and the beige stone is attractively mottled
Of gourd shape, the bottle is decorated with four of the Eight Buddhist with green and mauve patches.
Emblems, on one side the vase of treasure above a stylized lotus flower, 2¿ in. (5.4 cm.), pink tourmaline stopper
and on the reverse the parasol above twin fish, all set against a scroll
