The broad, rounded body is raised on a tall, slightly splayed foot crisply
cast with three taotie masks formed by three pairs of elongated dragons 文獻
confronted on heavy notched fanges. The lower register of the body is
decorated with three large taotie masks with bulging eyes, each fanked by 《藤田美 術 館 所 藏 品圖 錄》,卷 一,藤田美 術 館,大 阪,19 5 4 年,編 號 79。
small descending kui dragons, beneath a plain, narrow band and a wider 梅原末治,《日本蒐儲支那古銅精華》,卷一,大阪,1959年,編號10。
band of dragons confronted on three animal masks on the wide shoulder. 《藤田美術館名品圖錄》,藤田美術館,東京,1972年,編號436。
The domed cover is cast with three large upturned taotie masks centered 林巳奈夫,《殷周時代青銅器的研究》,卷一(圖版),東京,1984年,313頁,
and divided by heavy notched fanges, all beneath a tall segmented knob. 瓿39。
Each band is cast in high relief and reserved on leiwen grounds. The surface
has a silvery patina with areas of malachite encrustation. 盛酒器。瓿蓋的子口插入器口,六道長條形扉棱自圈足貫至隆鼓蓋面,中有花
苞形鈕,蓋面飾三組倒置饕餮紋。器束頸,飾兩周凸弦紋。弧肩上置三個圓雕犧
