A BUNCHEONG STONEWARE MAEBYEONG WITH INLAID
DECORATION
Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897), 15th century
With a large, expanding shoulder and body above a rather narrow
waist flaring towards the foot and gently sloping towards a waisted
neck with everted rim, decorated in inlaid black and white slip
(sanggam) with a willow tree and two sparrows perched on thin reeds
below wide bands of stripes and lappets, elongated lappets on the
lower section, covered in a thin glossy glaze
