Seated in dhyanasana with his hands held before him in the mida no join position, his robes loosely draped across his torso,
the hem decorated with bands of foliate scrolls, raised on a lotus throne, 45cm. (2)

The mida no join is a Japanese variation of the dhyana mudra of meditation, where the index fingers are brought together with
the thumbs.
