A FAMILLE VERTE BISCUIT ‘PHOENIX
TAIL’ VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is decorated with birds amidst a blossoming
prunus tree emerging from jagged rocks, all in
yellow, green, and aubergine on a pale greenish-
blue ground. An illegible seal mark is inscribed in
underglaze blue on the base.
