A FAMILLE VERTE OVOID VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The sides are decorated with shaped panels enclosing
ladies, children and cats in garden settings, between
two registers of smaller panels of ‘antiques’, all reserved
on a stippled ground painted with butterfies and
composite foral blossoms. The neck is decorated with
two panels of fower groups on a diaper ground.
