AN UNUSUAL FAMILLE VERTE EWER

KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)

The compressed globular body is decorated with a
garden terrace with blossoming vines and butterfies
in fight, with a C-shaped handle painted with cloud
scrolls, connecting to the tall, slender neck painted
with further fowers terminating in the everted rim
and ‘pinched’ spout.
