A PEACHBLOOM-GLAZED BRUSH WASHER, TANGLUO XI
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The compressed globular body is covered on the exterior with a glaze of soft rose color
suffused with pale green speckles and thinning to a pale pink tone on one side of the body.
The interior and base are white.

This type of brush washer is described as being of ‘gong’ shape, or tangluo xi, as it has a
