The central fgure of Buddha is shown standing on a lotus base, with right LITERATURE
hand raised in abhayamudra and left hand in varadamudra, between two
bodhisattvas, his head encircled by a nimbus surrounded by the petal-shaped Museum Yamato Bunkakan, East Asian Gilt Bronze Buddhist Figures, Nara,
aureole cast with fames. 1999, p. 40, no. 20.
