A LONGQUAN CELADON ‘MALLET’ VASE
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)
The vase has a cylindrical body and a long neck
fanked by a pair of dragon-fsh-shaped handles
below the everted rim, and is covered overall
with a soft sea-green glaze which also covers the
recessed base and continues into the interior.
