A CIZHOU-TYPE GREEN-GLAZED SGRAFFIATO PILLOW
SONG-JIN DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
The top is carved with a leafy peony stem reserved on a brown ground, and
the faceted sides are molded with a front-facing dragon on the back panel and
foliate diaper on the other panels, all under a thin green glaze.
