A BLUE AND WHITE ‘DRAGON’ DISH

WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A
DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
The dish is decorated on the exterior with two striding fve-clawed dragons
pursuing faming pearls amidst clouds, and on the interior with a double circle
enclosing three lingzhi-shaped clouds in the center below a double line border line
at the rim.
