YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE
AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The shallow dish is delicately decorated on the interior with a scholar clasping his hands inside the sleeves
of his long robe, beside a rootwood table supporting a censer, a fowering branch grows from elaborate
rocks in the background.
