A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED VASE
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER INCISED SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The urn-shaped body is molded with a bowstring band below the sloping shoulder. The neck is fanked by
a pair of trailing scroll handles below the metal-bound rim. The whole is covered with a glaze of crushed
strawberry tone streaked in milky and purplish blue and thinning to white on the handles.
