AN AUBERGINE-GLAZED INCISED ‘DRAGON’ BOWL
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
(1821-1850)
The bowl is fnely incised on the exterior with a pair of dragons chasing faming pearls amidst fames
above a border of waves, and the foot with a band of key fret above a double line, all under a rich iridescent
aubergine glaze, in contrast to the white interior.
