A LARGE RED SANDSTONE HEAD OF A
BODHISATTVA
YUAN-MING DYNASTY (1279-1644)
The head is fnely carved with full lips and a
steady gaze below an elaborate crown carved
with a lotus blossom in the center of foliate scrolls
incorporating pendent strands of beads.
