A CARVED GREYISH-GREEN JADE-INLAID RUYI SCEPTER
THE JADE YUAN-EARLY MING DYNASTY, 14TH-15TH CENTURY
The carved hongmu scepter is inlaid with three reticulated plaques crisply
carved in openwork from greyish-green jade, each with an exotic bird above a
fve-petalled blossom amidst overlapping leaves.
