Moulded to depict the Eight Daoist Immortals flying above a wavy
sea landscape, the base with an iron-red seal script mark, jadeite

Qing Dynasty and early 20th century respectively
The Chinese bottle of rounded shield-shape, carved with twin-
scenes of boys at play, original chrysanthemum-carved stopper; the
Japanese of spreading oval-section, incised and pencilled with a
continuous scene of two ladies in blossoming gardens, the base with
a Qianlong seal mark in red, original domed stopper.
The tallest bottle (with stopper): 10.4cm (4 1/4in) high (4).

PHOENIX’ SNUFF BOTTLE AND A CLOISONNÉ-ENAMEL
BOTTLE
Qing Dynasty
The first of tapered ovoid form, carved in reticulation with a finely
detailed dragon to one side and phoenix to the other, well matched
coral stopper with white-metal mount and spoon; the enamelled
bottle of rounded shield form, decorated with scrolling lotus on a
russet ground between formal borders, original stopper.
The porcelain bottle: 7.3cm (2 7/8in) high (4).
