Late Qing Dynasty
Including a pale green jade figure of water buffalo grasping a corn
sprout in his mouth; a yellow and russet jade recumbent water
buffalo, the head turned to the right; a white jade hound holding
a lingzhi branch; and a grey and russet hound with the front paws
pointing forward and the tail curled around his left haunch.
The largest: 7cm (2.3/4in) wide (4).

A GROUP OF TWO JADE ELEPHANTS AND ONE JADE BIRD
The elephants, Qing Dynasty
Comprising: two jade ‘elephant’ pendants, a grey and russet jade
one with his trunk curled up on the right side and with the saddle
blanket bearing a stylised face on each side and the Dao symbol on
top, and a yellow and russet jade one with the trunk touching his
right eye; together with a white jade figure of duck holding a lotus
branch on his beak.
The largest: 5cm (2in) wide (3).

THREE JADE AND ONE JADEITE ANIMAL CARVINGS
Comprising: a grey mottled jade model of a water buffalo, wood
stand; a pale green and russet jade recumbent hare with the long
ears gently resting on the back; a green jade ‘toad’ grasping a coin
chain; and a white and red jadeite carving of a horse with his head
turned back.
