Qing Dynasty and later
Comprising: a white and russet jade boulder
with a scholar and boy ascending the
mountain towards a pagoda and a deer and
crane on the reverse; a white and russet
jade gourd vase and cover with relief carved
foliate decoration; and a grey and russet jade
brushpot with pine branches in relief, wood
stand.

TWO LARGE BOULDER CARVINGS OF
MOUNTAINS
The green jade boulder with a sage and
goats ascending the mountain on one side
and a poem incised and gilt on the other
side, wood stand; the soapstone boulder
with a girl leading a tethered water buffalo,
encountering two immortals standing on
a cloud, the scene enclosed in a rocky
landscape with inscriptions both in classical
and archaistic style.
