Each boy with smiling expression shown
seated on a drum-form stool with one leg
raised, the eyes inset with black beads, one
fgure holding a cat and the other holding
a rabbit, each wearing a ruyi necklace and
loose clothing with foliate-decorated borders

with a pair of attendants standing beside
rocks in the foreground, the sides of the box
and cover inset with basketweave panels,
the base painted in red with three characters
