A SET OF SIXTEEN GRISAILLE-DECORATED
PORCELAIN PLAQUES MOUNTED IN A WOOD
FOUR-PANEL SCREEN
THE PLAQUES LATE QING DYNASTY
The plaques are of circular, quadrilobed, fan and lozenge shape
and are fnely decorated in grisaille enamels with landscape scenes,
some with pavilions and fgures. The panels are set into a wood
four-panel screen.
Each panel 61º in. (155.6 cm.) high, 16Ω in. (41.9 cm.) wide,
