The surface is well-carved in high relief with a sinuous chilong, The scabbard slide is well-carved to the top in high relief with a
depicted with pronounced eyes, a long writhing body and a large sinuous chilong, accompanied by a young dragon, which is
bifurcated tail. The well polished stone is of a russet tone with clambering at one end. Both dragons are detailed with bulging

SCABBARD SLIDE

The slide is well-carved with a sinuous dragon clambering on the
edge with its long tail trailing behind, and further decorated to the
surface with a recumbent bear, all against a ground of abstract ruyi-
form scrolls.
