The winged beast is boldly carved standing in a defensive stance, with its left front leg and
right hind leg extended outwards, in preparation for an attack. The broad head is carved
with sharp pointed fangs, pronounced eyes below thick brows and a curved horn that is
swept backwards, its haunch with an upward coiling bushy tail.
