KAKIEMON PORCELAIN BOWLS the inside and outside with flowers and a phoenix.
Japan, 18th century, Edo period (1615-1868) HEIGHT 4.5 cm, DIAMETER 12.3 cm
Condition: Very good condition. One with a tiny chip to the rim and
both with minor firing flaws.
Provenance: Austrian private estate.

Japan, 18th century, Edo period (1615-1868)
The deep bowl with a lobed rim is decorated on the inside and
outside with peonies and chrysanthemum flowers amongst some
rockwork, the inside of the rim with a foliate floral pattern.
HEIGHT 6 cm, DIAMETER 14.2 cm
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear to the rim and some
expected firing flaws.
Provenance: British private collection.
